It all started on May 22, 2025. A simple thought that turned into an idea. And soon this small group of friends decided to turn the idea into a Reality! The Dog Man Zine is an upcoming SFW fanzine by Dog Man fans TO Dog Man Fans featuring various artists and writers!

OUR MISSION!

The Dog Man Zine is a 100% for-charity Zine, meaning that all the mods and contributors do not make any profits. All-post productions funds will be donated to wheelchairs4kids, a non-profit organization dedicated to improving the lives of children with physical disabilities and their families!Wheelchairs4kids is a Florida based organization that provides wheelchairs, home and vehicle modifications, and other necessary medical equipment at no charge to the children served through through programs. Children with disabilities face many obstacles getting the equipment that they need: insurance and/or Medicaid may not cover the equipment, their home or vehicle may not be properly equipped for their needs, families may not be able to afford their copay, among others. These obstacles can lead to unsafe conditions for the child and their caretakers. Wheelchairs 4 Kids is here to help.The Organization scored a 100 on the Charity Navigator, with Accountability and Transparency also scoring a 100. A Financial statement of the donation will be shared at the end of the zine through all our social media platforms and in the Carrd when we reach our conclusion.

Q: What is this zine?

A: This zine is a fandom based community project from the Dog Man fandom TO the Dog Man fandom! The zine is entirely a non-profit profit in which all proceeds post-production will be donated to wheelchairs4kids!

Q: Will the zine be sold digitally or physically?

A: The zine will be sold in both digital and physical formats! Each version will hold its own exclusives for you to enjoy!

Q: Is this an artist-only zine?

A: The zine will feature both artists and writers!

Q: Will this be a ship oriented zine?

A: although the zine is intended to be platonic, shipping can be allowed, but must remain SFW and nonsuggestive

Q: Where can I buy the zine and merch?

A: All of our products will be sold via Big Cartel!

Q: Will there be any merch?

A: Yes, we are going to selling merch!

Q: What kind of merch will you have?

A: Each version of the zine will have different exclusives! In addition, we will also have photocards, acrylic standees, sticker sheets, and more!

Q: Who can apply?

A: Any artists & writers are welcome to apply!

Q: Can I apply for more than one position?

A: You are more than welcome to apply for both, but you will only be accepted into one

Q: How many writers/artists will you accept?

A: We are looking for 6-8 writers and 45 artists!

Q: Can I use a piece I already made as my contribution for the zine?

A: No, all works in the zine must be new and original

Q: Can I post works in progress or teasers?

A: Posting progress and teasers will be fine as long as the full image is not shared. If any works are leaked, this may result in exclusion from the zine or requiring you to submit an entirely new piece.

Q: Can I stream my piece?

A: It would be preferred if none of the works were streamed

Q: Will I get a free copy of the finished zine?

A: All contributors, upon completion, will receive a free digital copy of the zine! However, if you want a physical version, you must purchase it
